This Business of Living, This Business of Dying.

This piece is a recorded memory of the times my parents were dying in hospital. The times my sister and I waited in the Accident and Emergency Department and in the waiting room outside the Intensive Care Unit. It expresses the sense of disorientation, between day and night, between the past and the future. " Out of time and space."

This piece is about death and memory. Trying to assemble the relics of the past. Trying to reconstruct a memorial, an epitaph,for a dead person or a dead relationship. Trying to remember, trying to remember the details. The memories are incomplete. In the end only the fragments remain.
